About Mana Muna

Mana Muna - also known as KMA - is referred to Late Janab K.M.Mohamed Abdul Khader who was born in 1900 in a village called Kovilur - 7 km from Dindigul town. He ventured into business in 1925 and went on to establish Mana Muna Group in 1932 (which primarily was into Leather products). Mana Muna established the KMA mark for its Leather which was known in the international market for its quality. Mana Muna established many industries in leather both in Dindigul and Chennai. He also started a school in his village named after his religious teacher Colombo Syed Mohamed Alim Higher Secondary School. He established an exclusive trust which till today manages his various religious and educational charities. Mana Muna passed away in the year 1975.

Mana Muna Academy

Started in the year 2001 with Janab K.M.Mohamed Ali as the Managing Trustee and K.M.Mohamed Ibrahim, K.M.Mohamed Ismail Sait and K.M.Mohamed Asif as trustees, Mana Muna Academy is a registered trust. It is running a school in Dindigul - Green park Matriculation School.

Mana Muna Academy has started its Chennai chapter which - Insha Allah - would be involved in Training & Consultancy Services in Management Education, Islamic Banking and Finance. It has also planned to launch an exclusive training programme for the Learned Ulemas to help them understand the technical aspects of Islamic Banking and Finance.
